I've spent 25 years building, scaling, and selling technology companies — and advising others through the same transitions.

Today I run Aeolus — a fractional CIO practice that provides on-demand technology leadership to growing companies. I work with CEOs and leadership teams on IT strategy, infrastructure, security, vendor management, and M&A technology due diligence — the full CIO scope, without the full-time cost. Eleven transactions across my career, multiple exits, and a seat at the table on both sides of the deal. That experience shapes how I think about technology decisions.

I'm also building Mahiri — an autonomous business operating system for small and mid-sized companies. The thesis is straightforward: for twenty years, only large enterprises could afford a full marketing team, a pipeline function, a content operation, an intelligence layer. Small businesses outsourced what they could and went without the rest. Mahiri closes that gap with AI-powered agents that handle the operational layer — so founders can focus on the work that matters.

Before Aeolus and Mahiri, I founded Accent Plus as one of the first Google Cloud and Microsoft reseller partners in the country. I spun out NeoCloud, scaled it, and sold it to AppDirect, where I co-founded AppSmart as Founder and Co-CEO. Each company taught me something the previous one couldn't.

I got my private pilot certificate in 2007 and have logged 300+ hours PIC across a Cessna 172, 182, Diamond DA40, and Cirrus SR22. Complex and high performance endorsed. I fly for the perspective it gives — on the ground and off it.

I hold a BS in Electrical Engineering from NC State. I still think like an engineer: start with the system, understand the constraints, build the simplest thing that solves the problem. For ten years I've served as President of Clean Jordan Lake — a conservation nonprofit I helped build from the ground up: 250+ tons of trash removed, a $75K operating fund, a five-year strategic plan, and a leadership transition now underway.
