What I do

I'm the founder of Aeolus, a fractional CIO agency for growth-stage US companies. I work as the technology executive for businesses that need CIO-level leadership without the overhead of a full-time hire — strategy, security, vendor management, and team building on a fractional basis.

Before Aeolus, I founded NeoCloud — one of the first Google Cloud and Microsoft Cloud reseller partners — which was acquired by NeoNova Network Services in 2012. I spun out of NeoNova in 2015 to build the first B2B technology marketplace (AppSmart, now AppDirect): 11 M&A deals, national channel partnerships, and a platform that today serves 16 million subscribers.

I hold a BS in Electrical Engineering from NC State and certifications from Cisco, Google, and Microsoft. Recognized by the Triangle Business Journal as a Top 40 Under 40 (Class of 2017).

Community

I've served as President of Clean Jordan Lake for over 10 years — leading the organization serving one of central North Carolina's most critical reservoirs. The lake supplies drinking water to over 300,000 people across the Triangle.
